CEU Provider Application
The Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Interior Designers is required by statute to approve continuing education courses used to fulfill the annual CEU requirement for LA Registered Interior Designers. Under this statute, the Board may only approve courses with content directly related to the Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) of the public.
Courses that have been granted an HSW designation by IDCEC , CEUEvents.com, or AIA will be approved, typically within 1 week of submission.
If the course has been approved by both IDCEC and AIA, our approval will be based on the designations from IDCEC, not AIA.
Courses that haven’t been reviewed by a listed entity may be submitted for review, but it will take a minimum of 90 days as the Board has to vote on approval at a regularly scheduled meeting. Please do not submit courses that IDCEC has designated as General or that AIA or CEUevents.com has not designated as HSW, as they will be denied and fees will not be refunded.
To apply for course approval, complete the fillable pdf application, pay the fee using the pay buttons below, and email the form to Board office.
To pay for 1 HSW approved course: $10.00 + $5 CC processing fee =$15.00
NOTE: if you have more than 1 course to pay for, please contact the office so you aren’t charged a credit card fee for each course
To pay for 1 course that has NOT yet been approved: $100 + $5 CC processing fee= $115.00
